Saturday, Nov. 11: Heroes Hall Veteran's Museum
Celebrate Orange County’s first museum honoring veterans and their stories of valor and sacrifice. The multi-million dollar museum is 100-percent constructed by union labor. The valor and sacrifice of our military men and women—and the lessons they learned—will be accessible to future generations. Heroes Hall is located on the fairgrounds in the same area of where the Veterans Day event will take place.  Come visit Heroes Hall!

>Now Until Nov. 11 (10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.): Food Drive for Veterans
You can bring your non-perishable food donations to the FREE Veterans Day community celebration on November 11th at the fairgrounds.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION: At the Heroes Hall Veterans Museum, there will be a public dedication of plaques for the Marines who died at the El Toro Marine Base when their plane, on the way to Vietnam, crashed.  Also, a plaque will be dedicated to Army Staff Sgt. Kazuo Masuda.  He won the Distinguished Service Cross during World War II.  His family was in an internment camp after being taken from their home in Costa Mesa.

Veterans + Labor: Partners in Service was launched in 2013. Far too often, our nation’s veterans don’t receive the support they’ve earned or the services they need when returning home. California’s labor unions are taking the lead to change that. On Veterans Day, workers are bringing the community together to say "thank you" to our nation’s heroes.
