Well it's almost that time again, yup re-election for one of the most important positions within Los Angeles County.  Ms Kathryn Barger is up for re-election in 2020 for the coveted post of Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor's fifth district seat.  For those of you that are not aware Ms Barger has been an outspoken advocate of Local 119 while she has been in the position as a Supervisor of LA County.  Supervisor Barger has thrown her support on many agendas' that our local has pushed such as insourcing of jobs back into the county. 

Our Local 119 President Harry Wong, AFSCME Council 36 President Andreas Jung speaks highly of Supervisor Barger and her professionalism in assisting "labors' concerns" involving not only our local but other locals within our district council.  Local 119 will definitely be supporting and endorsing Ms Kathry Barger's bid as incumbent for the position of Board of Supervisors.  Please show your support for Ms Kathryn Barger on election day by giving her a good turn out at the voting booth and putting your mark for her as Supervisor and keep the excellent working relationship Local 119 has with Ms Barger as a Supervisor.
