I send this out on behalf of a widow to a AFSCME fallen brother, and to address an ongoing question, should you vaccinate or not? last week we lost an AFSCME brother with no pre existing medical conditions to COVID. I had covid and was out of work from October to December.

I'm proud to be an American and live in a country where we have the right to choose, but I ask you to truly weigh the pluses and minuses of this vaccine and about our families.

I got it and also my family. I'm hoping this will help incase I get it again and also protect others around me. One of the saddest things was hearing my fallen brother’s wife saying she wishes she would have made him get the shot.

I'm not trying to preach. I'm just delivering a message and asking you to think about it.

As government employees, we are all essential and exposed to risks.
