GET OUT THE VOTE WEEKEND IS UPON US! We have a few events that we would love for you all to attend. These are very close races in which our activism can MAKE OR BREAK the election. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

On Saturday, February 29th and Tuesday, March 3rd, we will be knocking on doors of fellow AFSCME members in Pasadena, Long Beach, and Santa Clarita. In Pasadena, we will be walking for VICTOR GORDO FOR PASADENA MAYOR and TAMERLIN GODLEY FOR PASADENA CITY. In Long Beach, we will be walking for AL AUSTIN FOR LONG BEACH CITY COUNCIL. In Santa Clarita, we will be walking for KIPP MUELLER FOR STATE SENATE, KELVIN DRISCOLL FOR STATE ASSEMBLY and LORAINE LUNDQUIST FOR LA CITY COUNCIL.

Additionally, on Saturday, February 29th the Speaker of the State Assembly Anthony Rendon is requesting AFSCME’s presence at two HUGE campaign walks in Irvine and Oceanside! Many State Assemblymembers and their staff will be present at both of these events, and it is a great time to get to meet them, interact and show AFSCME power by getting a big group out there!
