Prior to his arrival here in 2012, Bob worked as a Labor Representative for the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA), one of the Bargaining Units for the State of California, from 1998-2011. He has also served as a Senior Analyst for the Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice Planning in the City of Los Angeles, in the Tom Bradley administration, as well as Special Assistant to the Deputy Mayor of Public Safety in the Richard Riordan administration.  In addition, from 1994-1997, Bob served as a Special Investigator to the Citizen Police Complaint Commission in the City of Long Beach.  Other labor experience includes with the Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) and the Communications Workers of America (CWA).   Bob graduated from Oregon State University and holds a Juris Doctorate from UCLA.  He is also a DRPA-certified mediator in Orange County.
